  1. Look out for new work of Q - named ‘G’. Heard sumay is working on couple of interesting and challenging films too . Let see what happens. Incidentally know both.

  2. Whats news on Q what is he doing ? We are waiting for some unconventional and meningful stuff from Sumay also. Where are you guys ???? The young calcutta women are ready for some serious and interesting themes.

  3. Q is working a couple of new projects, that I know. We heard sumay is alos writing some new concepts. I am eagerto wath their projects. But guys pls not compare and unnecessaru criticise. If we dot like new films of unconventional types stay away from unnecessary comparison. In fact i like their works

  4. This pages seems to be aplace of comparison on Q and new comer Sumay. They seem to be grounded and working on their new projects. Last heard Q is working on home production LII (love in India ) and Sumay wrting few new story and concepts. Some bdoy pls post some interviews on this naya kids.

  5. I would recommend both the movies as quite interesting and bold type. We would look out for Q and Sumay for their new story and films. Any idea if they are doing anything new ?

  6. I happen to know seen the Q ’s film and know the film maker Sumay also. He is different type of writer & film maker. He happens to be finance person and Banker who stays out of Calcutta but seems to be in lovw with the city. a rare breed of couragious young uy who is banker & loves to write and make movies.

  7. See a lot of write ups on the new guys like Q , Raj & Sumay. Out of them Sumay is relatively new and has only one mvie under his belt. But no point in comparing these people. Q is pure creative one where as Sumay is write film maker who happens to be in banking also. Yes a corporate banker, to surprise us all.

  8. Saw the new feel with a touch of difference in Sony 8. Truly these movies are unconventional. Calcutta is not prepared for this type of bold films. Am looking for some interview of the new writer producer Sumay Banerjee and the director ‘Q’. Both seems very interesting men.PLs post an interview…….

  9. Q & Sumay are the new makers and trend setters in tollywood. But need more from them of this bold types.

  10. Bish of Q was different stuff. Saw the new one Thikana rajpath too, made by the young Sumay whose occasional writings we have read before. Finally,Tollygunje is moving to differnt unconventional direction it seems , with makesr like Ritu, Q and Sumay. Keep it going atleast some change in flavour.

  11. Had seen Bish & Thikana rajpath got screened last week. Its a different & bold movie my best wishes to director & producers. Tollygunje would need more films which are different and out of box. Am curious to know about the new movie makers in this twon (an interview maybe)

  12. Great news, Keep it up Bish & Q. Lets not compre between films. Thikana rajpath & Bish rae two school of movies totally for different set of audience. But tollywood probably needs them both ! is it……..

  13. No point drawing parallers bewteen the two films bish & thikana rajpath. The makers are also different people with totally different view points on Cinema. Q is a creative & differnt movie maker and writer Sumay is more focussed on good quality commercial films. But both of them are interesting people.

  14. Need to know more about Q and Sumay and their respective films Biss and Thikana Rajpath. Thesea rea bold film makers with a differnce (is it early to comment). But would love to see their films coming.

  15. I agree with Nidhi, no point comparing these two films. Bish (released) and Thikana Rajpath ((about to be released) are 2 films of different themes and taste. But both made by new comers Q (Director n Composer) & another by Sumay (Filmmaker & writer Producer). But with one common line i.e. bold and starkly modern.

  16. Its not ok to draw paralles or conslusion on these type of different movies. Bish is a welcome relief, but when is Thikana rajpath getting released. I am cusrious and waiting for more write ups on it.

  17. Bish & Thikana Rajpath are two bold, unorthodox and films of different taste by new comers Q (Kaushik) and Sumay /Alokesh. of Thikana Rajpath. These films seems a little ahead of time. But These are also good relief from the normal Tollygunje stuff. Keep them going pls !

  18. Interesting comments here on women empowerment. We want to see some snaps and read deails or articles on the surrogate Motherhood movie Thikana rajpath. Am curious abut the new film makers & producers Sumay & Alokes. But it would be a controversial & definitely new type of film it seems.

  19. Bish is good. Different from the rest.
The name & theme on surrogate motherhood seems controversial, we are curious for Thikana Rajpath.

  20. Tollygunje seems to be rocking with new different films. ‘Bish’ of Kaushik is good plus heard about this new coom film on Surrogate Motherhood named ‘Thikana Rajpath’ by new writer & producer Sumay Banerjee.

  21. Hi very intersing site. We would like to know more about a movie in Calcutta named ‘Thikana Rajpath’ its being made by two new producess Sumay Banerjee & Alokesh Mitra.
The story is on Womrnhood & Surrogate Motherhood.
Want to know more about this project…….Raj

  22. fatafati…aaro chai…!!

  23. super film !!

  24. i think the music, editing and cinematography of the film was very modern. One of the best I have seen in a Bengali film for a long time. Way to go. More films like this should be made. enough of that tollywood crap !!!death to Prosenjit and Mithun’da !!
