Chaplin , the bengali movie by Anindo Banerjee due for release in August . Rudranil plays Banshi Das, a father who dresses up like Charlie Chaplin and entertains people at birthday parties. While he believes that what he does is art, the people he works for don’t think and people just enjoy. But Chaplin isn’t bogged down by anything, even in extreme poverty.
Other Characters played by child actor Soham, Rachita Bhattacharya, Mir . Director Srijit plays a director in his first full-fledged film role. Kaushiki Deshikan debuted as playback singer in this film.
