Actress Debashree Roy will sing a song ‘ Chokhe jol talomol ‘ in Director Kanaj Das’s Thikana Rajpath, where Debashree is a domestic help who agrees to be a surrogate mother for the sake of the childless couple who have employed her. The film also stars Rajatava Dutta, Paran Banerjee, Indrani Halder, Anamika Saha, Debesh Roy Chowdhury .
Music director Alokesh Mitra has recorded song with Debashree. Rupankar is the other play back singer of this film who highly praised the performance of Debasree Roy as singer.

This film is made by new comer in movies who is writer & Producer - Sumay Banerjee & Alokesh Mitra directed by Kanoj Das.
Seems this would turn out to be different and controversial film once released. Thanks to the new producers flmmakers & Sandstone for this type of a movie which is commercial but with a good theme (Surrogate Motherhood) , plus a great casting. We need more……..
Debashree Singing for first time wow! cant believe it. Further Debashree & Indrani halder first time in tollygunge. Seems a bold and interesting theme with good casting as mentioned above. Interesting stuff coming out. Kudos to the new Producers for choosing such bold and new stryline, when is the release?.
Wow ! Deboshree Roy is going great. Is this her come back movie? Heard this is the first bengali movie on motherhood. But over all set up with director and Producers along with new film makers, this would be interesting. Calcutta seems to become again a place of new ideas and experiments in art & culture. Deboshree please keep going.
Looks a very different commercial film. Its made by 2 new comers & young producer/writers Alokesh & Sumay. Its being launched by again by a new production outfit Sandstone - India. Want to know about the final casting though f Thikana Rajpath.

Very creatinve thinking with Debashree in lead role and making her sing. Thanks to the film makers Sumay & Alokesh for this type of bold decision. Shuld be a comeback movie in achallenging role for the veteran actress in thikana rajpath.

We just cannot believ Debashree singing. We are all her fans and will cheer for her & thikana Rajpath. Had a discussion on this movie but we feel its a over ambition film and ahead of time in Tollywood. The producer n filmmaker , Sumay Banerjee & Alokeshh Mitro should have waited for some years. A lovely and simple film. a very good combination of Stars , actosr, direction and outstanding story with concept. The making is not great just avarage though. Plus some very bold actions like the debsahrees fist song in her career. We are keen for joint interview of calcutta star debashree and new thinker and new producer Sumay.
