Following is some observations that after seeing all of Dev’s films till date. Before this new era, people used to shy away from watching bengali commercial films . But Challenge entirely has influenced  hitherto perception regarding bengali films and the image of the HERO.
Dev is the best thing that has happened to tollywood after a long period of time, even those who did not bother to even look at posters of bengali films, are now flocking tohalls to catch Dev in all his films; even multiplexes are running almost full houses of Dev’s films. Dev really has the ability to be a modern-day film hero. I wish him all the best.

Jeet is talented actor no doubt; I have even watched several films of his, but Dev has totally changed the style of tollywood-it has been modernized and made up to date, which is also attracting the urban and even young audience, who previously used to shy away from bengali commercial films. Thanks to Dev, his acting, machismo, screen presence, bengali films have got a new lease of life. hopefully dev will continue to improve, suit himself to multiple roles, even negative and complex ones, and take tollywood to new heights by being its next MAHANAYAK-A HERO IN THE TRUE SENSE OF THE TERM, that we find in Bollywood or Hollywood, where acting is complimented by good looks, machismo, screen presence.
