Feluda in animation film

Satyajit Ray’s super-intelligent detective Feluda ( Pradosh Chandra Mitter ) will be soon coming to cinemas in an animation flick with cousin Topesh and friend Lalmohanbabu .

Hyderabad-based animation, gaming and entertainment company DQ Entertainment International is currently in the process of developing television movies that are also suitable for theatrical release, based on Ray’s detective stories of feluda, in a high-definition animation format for a global audience.They have acquired the rights to make 15 of Feluda stories into animation. The first film is expected to hit theatres by the end of this year and second during the second quarter of 2010.

It’s good that Feluda’s reach will be extended with this project. The first feluda animation movie will be  Jato Kando Kathmandute.
