Makeover doesn’t work wonders for a television actor Koneenica Banerjee who is ready to flaunt her ‘body’ of talent .
She has shed her baby fat and is ready to start from scratch in Bollywood. Koneenica, who shoots in a bathtub as effortlessly as a fish takes to water, is on a makeover spree. Koneenica has her head firmly placed on her shoulder even as she says that nobody in Kolkata film industry(Tollywood) even understands the concept of a makeover.

The sleeker waistline and weighing machine recording a straight dip from a 68 kg to a new-improved 52 kg has empowered Koneenica with lots of confidence. Her figure-hugging corsets and midriff showing dresses are at best reserved to pamper her own ego. “I might get one or two telefilm offers. But Tollywood doesn’t offer more after a makeover. I had got a few serial offers in Mumbai earlier which I had turned down. But this time, I’d rather start from scratch in Bollywood,” is what she says in her defence.
Her designer feels that with her washboard abs, Koni can flaunt any revealing costume with élan. “Though she likes her traditional look, Koni’s well-toned body can carry off any revealing attire,” says her designer, Agnimitra Paul. Though Bollywood is yet to welcome Koni with offers, professionals in the industry are happy with her ability to toggle between being sensual and traditional.
Till such time that Koni gets new offers from Tollywood, Koni’s market value sadly remains unchanged. Koni is ready to expóse if the role demands. But unless she gets a role to expóse her ‘body’ of talent, Koni’s fate will hang in balance.
