Madly Bangalee is about the changing Bangali. Anjan is addressing the youth, the young and the adventurous…. One of the four boys is a Hindi-speaking Muslim. The rest are all Bengalis. There’s the whole trajectory of four generations because he feels Bengalis are very rooted. Anjan wanted to explore the connection of the young Bangali with his past.
