Rachana Banerjee is now set to lead the cast in Partha Sarathi Joardar’s ( whose Megh Brishtir Khela starring Rituparna and Shaheb Chatterjee is awating release ) upcoming film Kalir Arjun.
Kalir Arjun has a woman-oriented subject. Rachana (Kali) plays a doting sister to younger brother Arjun (played by newcomer Raj). All’s well with the siblings till Kali falls for rich man Sanjay (Indrajit). After their marriage, Kali’s in-laws start scheming how to get rid of her but their devious plans fall through. The whole film revolves around this.
