In Palashpur Du Mile, Rituparna plays NRI girl Priyanka, who returns from the US in search of her roots where she meets the rest of the characters. The two men giving her company are TV hunk Rrishii Kaushik and theatre actor Joy Sengupta.Priyanka bonds with Rrishii in the film. Joy plays a mafia man. The film also has a political backdrop and Priyanka goes through a lot of harassment in her hometown. Rituparna Sengupta is looking absolutely stunning in her new venture director Partha Ganguly’s ‘Palashpur Du Mile’ .
