Rituparno Ghosh has dropped his Byomkesh Bakshi trilogy on celluloid

We all know that there were two movies being made on the famous Bengali detective Byomkesh Bakshi. Both Anjan Dutta and Rituparna Ghosh are very good directors and there would be two different interpretations of Byomkesh. The stories they had chosen are different — Anjan is working on Adim Ripu while Rituparno was doing Arthomonortham — and the backdrops are also different to a certain extent.

However, the news in the air is that Rituparno Ghosh has now moved out of the race and that’s too much to the surprise of Anjan. We are not sure why Rituparno moved out but it is sad since Ritu’s would have come up with a very good thriller.
