Seven films in her bag, dance shows and yatra — it seems Locket Chatterjee doesn’t have any time left for herself.
Her diary is booked for the coming months and she is a busy bee !
She has just completed Ravi Kinnagi’s film and will start shooting for Gourav Pande’s Suknolankha opposite Mithun Chakraborty and Neelanjan’s untitled debut venture. Two more projects are on her agenda, to be directed by Sanghamitra Chowdhury and Aniket Roy. At present, Locket is simultaneously shooting for three flicks — a Swapan Saha venture, where she essays the role of Prosenjit Chatterjee’s sister, Jayanta Basu’s Choker Aloye, where she plays the parallel lead with Rachna Banerjee and Raj Mukherjee’s untitled film opposite Tapas Pal.
So, is she bidding adieu to the small screen?
“Not at all. If anything meaty comes my way, I’m game! I’m an actor, so it doesn’t matter whether it’s the silver screen or TV. I sign a project only if I find it interesting”
After a super duper jatra hit last year, she will now be seen in Manusher Bhagoban opposite Chiranjeet.
