Bengali model Monikangana Dutta wonders why creativity should be kept under wraps of claustrophobic boundaries. “I wonder if I could ever wear a transparent outfit and walk the ramp in Kolkata or, in fact, anywhere in India. There probably would be riots that would break out in the country if something like this were to happen. Unlike any other fashion capital, India still needs to open up to more ideas and learn to look beyond the accepted norm. Ultimately, creativity shouldn’t be restricted with boundaries.”
